Or rather, lizard sitting. The Hardy's had to go on a family vacation before the start of the school year (I was home-schooled until high school and graduated 2 years early), and Joe asked me to pet-sit his lizard named Spike. I can't say I like small animals, anything smaller than Togo is a bit too small to keep track of. And this wasn't any different.
The first day, Spike just sat in his fish tank staring at me and flicking his tongue. It kinda creeped me out, since I was working on my computer at the same desk. Togo sat on my lap and stared back at the reptile for a while, then ran off.
Day two, Hannah saw it, only it was EXACTLY in the spot of it's tank where my magnifying glass was pointing, and to say the least, Hannah thought a giant iguana was crawling around inside. It startled her a bit.
This went on for a week and a half, and I am proud to say Spike is still a happy-healthy-still-alive lizard and back in Bayport with his rightful owner.
It's great to be blogging again, I'll update again later this week.
